Themes and branding news!

Themes

• New theme editor: A brand new, flexible way to create and edit themes – giving you full control of colours, fonts, backgrounds and more. It’s now easier than ever to create screens that match your branding or the look you’re going for!

• New templates and theme variations: We’ve added a range of visual starting points to help you get going and find a layout that suits your needs.

• Manage, switch and edit themes: You can easily switch or edit themes from the channel’s settings. You can also do this from Themes in the Library, where you’ll always have an overview of all themes and which channels they’re used on.

• Area styles: Area styles* are sets of properties that affect one or more areas of the screen. You can define how they initially should be used in different layouts – and override them on a channel if needed.

Fonts

• More fonts to choose from: New fonts have been added and can be selected when editing a theme.

• Support for custom fonts: You can now upload your own font files or use a URL to apply your own fonts in a theme.

Colours

• Ready-made colour palettes: We’ve prepared a selection of stylish colour palettes you can choose from.

• Create your own palettes: Or make your own – with up to three colours. You can enter hex codes, extract colours from an image, or generate a palette from your logo.

• Solid colour background: It’s now also easy to set a solid background colour for your screen – for example a brand colour, or one that matches the room where the screen is located.

• Signal colours: Elements like clocks, boxes, icons and graphs use their own signal colours. These can be adjusted per channel as needed.

Logo

• Logo set via theme: You can now add a logo directly in the theme – especially useful for larger accounts and networks. On a channel level, you can choose to use the logo set in the theme, or upload an alternative logo if you want something different for a specific channel.

• Size and placement: You can easily control the size and placement of the logo in an area.

• Dynamic colours: If you use an SVG logo, you can enable dynamic colours – this ensures the logo automatically adjusts to light or dark backgrounds.

Other

• Advanced design options: For those who want more control, it’s now possible to adjust borders, spacing, background images, inner frames and more – giving you even more creative freedom in your design.

New Features for the Time Counter Post:

General:

• Set both start and end times.
• Easily choose whether to count up or down.

Customise the post under the new Extra tab:

• Select font, background image, background colour, and a main colour for the area.
• The Label field replaces a small label in two of the templates, allowing you to add custom text.

More options for the post when the timer ends (under the When finished tab):

• Replace the timer with an image, emoji, icon, or GIF.
• Preview how the post will look when the timer finishes by using the Show the ending button.
